Introduction to Manufacturing Technology: Difficult-to-Cut Material Processing

Especially challenging deep hole machining, with proven results! High design quality cutting machining technology.

We would like to introduce our manufacturing technology and cutting processing of difficult-to-cut materials. We utilize cutting technology for special alloy steels such as Inconel 600, 700, 800, Hastelloy B, C, zirconium, and Monel to process TAB6400. In the case of TAB6400, we have successfully achieved deep hole machining, which is considered particularly challenging. Our machining achievements include deep hole processing with a depth of 40 times the hole diameter, such as φ6×240L to φ20×260L. Additionally, we specify a surface roughness of Rz3.6 or less (effectively Rz2.5) across all products, demonstrating our cutting technology's high aesthetic appeal that resonates with people. 【Features】 ■ Processing TAB6400 using cutting technology for special alloy steels ■ Successful deep hole machining in TAB6400, which is considered particularly difficult ■ Astonishing deep hole machining achievements with depths of up to 40 times the hole diameter, such as φ6×240L to φ20×260L ■ Cutting technology with high aesthetic appeal that resonates with people *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Examples of Difficult-to-Cut Material Processing] Deep Hole Machining of Titanium (Ti)

We also accept processing with unknown details! We will determine the type of cutting tool, cutting conditions, and more for processing.

We would like to introduce a case study of "deep hole machining of titanium (Ti)" conducted at Aitec Co., Ltd. Difficult-to-machine materials such as high-hardness materials, sintered materials, titanium, and Inconel often have limited data on tool types and cutting conditions, making them less appealing to machinists. At our company, we first determine the types of tools to be used and the cutting conditions before proceeding with the machining. One of the challenges we faced in this machining process was that the deep hole machining of a φ1.5mm diameter and 50mm depth was a blind hole. 【Case Overview】 ■ Work Size ・Φ18mm × 65mm ・Deep hole machining of φ1.5mm at 50mm depth ■ Material: Titanium alloy *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
